FoundersChecker provides AI-generated analysis of business ideas. The analysis is intended as a thinking tool to help you evaluate your ideas critically. It is not financial, legal, investment, or professional advice of any kind.
When you submit a business idea, your text is sent to a third-party AI analysis provider to generate the report. We do not store, log, or retain your idea submission on our own servers. Your submission is not retained by us after the report is generated.
Our AI provider processes your submission under their own data policy. By using FoundersChecker, you acknowledge that your idea text is transmitted to a third-party provider for the purpose of generating your analysis. Our AI provider does not use API submissions for model training by default, but we cannot make absolute guarantees about their internal processes. If you are concerned about confidentiality of a genuinely sensitive business idea, we recommend consulting a legal professional before submitting it to any online service.
The analysis generated by FoundersChecker is produced by an AI model and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. We make no warranty that:

You retain ownership of the ideas you submit. By submitting an idea, you grant us a limited licence to process it through our AI system to generate your analysis.
Free tier: you grant us an additional licence to use your submission anonymously to improve our service.
Pro tier: your submissions are used solely to provide your personal analysis and history. No additional licence is granted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FoundersChecker and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to business losses, lost profits, or decisions made based on our analysis.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FoundersChecker and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time if you violate these terms. You may also delete your account at any time from your account settings.
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify Pro subscribers by email of material changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
